UKSTORE is a collaboration between the University of Leeds, Oxford University Hospitals and the University of Edinburgh.
The following representatives from the Universities are leading the project:
Adam Glaser, Professor of Paediatric Oncology and Late Effects, University of Leeds
Adam has been a consultant paediatric oncologist in Leeds for over 20 years. His specialist interests are the late effects and long term follow up of young people living with and beyond cancer and life threatening haematological conditions.
Richard Feltbower, Professor of Epidemiology, University of Leeds
Richard joined Leeds in 1998 as a Research Statistician with a specialist interest in epidemiology childhood and young adult cancer. His current research involves the use of linked data sets to evaluate long-term outcomes, including mental health, educational attainment and treatment toxicity.
Rebecca Mottram, Senior Research Nurse, University of Leeds
Rebecca is a Senior Research Nurse for children and young people, with over 12 years’ experience of research delivery and management. She is currently seconded to the UKSTORE until December 2023.
Sheila Lane, Consultant Paediatric Oncologist, Oxford University Hospitals
Sheila has been a Consultant Paediatric Oncologist in Oxford for 15 years. Her special interests are the effect of cancer treatment on fertility. Since 2014 she has been Programme Lead for a fertility preservation programme for children and young adults at high risk of infertility.
Rod Mitchell, Professor of Paediatric Endocrinology, University of Edinburgh
Rod is a Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. His research interests are in testicular development. He runs the clinical research programme to store testicular tissue from children with cancer in Scotland.
Richard Anderson, Professor of Clinical Reproductive Science, University of Edinburgh
Richard is a Professor of Clinical Reproductive science at the University of Edinburgh and a consultant in reproductive medicine at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. He has a long-standing involvement in fertility preservation, and was Chair of the ESHRE Guideline group on female fertility preservation.
